THE SANTA MONICA RESTAURANT, BAR & NIGHTLIFE GUIDE (last updated: 9/23/2021 at 8:30PM)
INDOOR DINING IS BACK!
We have all been anxiously awaiting a return to normal, and we are slowly getting there. As of today, indoor dining will now be allowed to operate at 25% capacity, and outdoor dining still remains an option for you to enjoy our local restaurants. Even during this difficult time, 30 NEW SANTA MONICA RESTAURANTS have recently opened or will be shortly.
To help you discover the best dining destination for you, check out the below list of Santa Monica restaurants currently offering indoor and/or outdoor dining, as well as takeout and delivery. As the restaurant industry remains a fluid situation, make sure to visit the individual websites for their current status. Bon appétit!

A COUPLE OF FINAL NOTES…
Please email Kimberly Jaffe directly at kimberly@laanyday.com with any updates to be added to this blog. In addition, to discover L.A.’s hidden gems, please check out LAAnyDay.com.
Take a STAYCATION at one of our amazing Santa Monica Hotels. A number of them are offering discounts for locals if you book soon. They have implemented the latest Health Dept. sanitization protocols and it’s a great way to take a mini vacation.
PLEASE support your restaurants directly. If you are choosing to enjoy a restaurant’s cuisine at home, please pickup from them directly as the profits will go to the restaurant instead of a third-party delivery service. Our restaurant industry is continuing to struggle and it will be a slow recovery for these eateries to get back to pre-pandemic times. Please support our restaurant industry!
Spread the word about this blog as well as having friends, family and colleagues sign up for the L.A. Any Day newsletter (see below). We need to do our part to support our restaurant industry.
This list was created out of love for Santa Monica. I work all over Los Angeles and am a 4th generation L.A. native, but Santa Monica has been my home for 30 years. It’s where I raised my girls and is near and dear to my heart, so this is my gift back to Santa Monica to help it recover 💜🌞🌴
